Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Business Honors Student Association is to create a sense of community within the Business Honors Program of Temple University. The organization will strive to enhance the professional development of its members, as well as will build a strong alumni network that may be called upon to assist students whenever needed.

Becoming a member:

Students can join BHSA only after being accepted to the Fox School Honors program:

1. If you are currently enrolled in the Fox Honors Program:
            - Bring annual dues of $70 by October 1st ($80 after October 1st) to the Fox Honors office in Alter Hall                        A030 (Lower Level)
    - If you want to pay for a semester membership, dues are $40
    - You may bring cash (please have exact change) or a check payable to “BHSA” 

2. If you are not enrolled in the Fox Honors Program, you must apply for admission into the Fox Honors Program before you can join BHSA. In order to apply:
    - If you want to pay for a semester membership, dues are $40
    - You may bring cash (please have exact change) or a check payable to “BHSA” 
    - You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7
    - You must apply through the University Honors application site: http://www.temple.edu/honors/applying/

Members are expected, but not required, to participate in the various social activities, community service events, and professional development activities. Members are also expected, but not required, to either take a leadership position in the organization and/or join one of the many committees.
